Motus Rentals franchises vehicle rental territories across the United Kingdom. You own the fleet and the local relationships; our central operations team runs the bookings, customer support, compliance checks and pricing engine behind you. Entry starts at a £7,500 franchise fee.
Two models are available, depending on whether rental is your whole business or an addition to one you already run.
The two models
- Lifestyle / add-on model — working capital from £15,000. Built for existing motor trade, garage, dealership and transport businesses adding rental income to assets and premises they already have.
- Standalone branch model — working capital from £50,000. A dedicated rental branch with its own fleet, premises and local market, operating as the Motus presence for its territory.
What the franchise fee and investment cover
The £7,500 franchise fee covers your territory rights, brand licence, onboarding and training. Working capital beyond that goes into your fleet and local setup, which is why the two models differ so much — an add-on operator often has premises and staff already.

How it works
- 1. Apply and get approved — we assess your preferred territory, local demand and which model fits you.
- 2. Set up your territory — we source vehicles at fleet discount, configure your booking page and set your local pricing.
- 3. Go live — customers book online, complete digital checks and collect. You earn the rental income; our operations centre handles the day-to-day.

We are actively recruiting partners across the UK, with particular focus on London and the Home Counties, Birmingham and the West Midlands, Manchester and the North West, and Leeds and Yorkshire. Territory availability changes as agreements are signed — enquire with your preferred town or region and we will confirm what is open.
