Car Hire in Dubai & Dubai International Airport (DXB)
Motus Rentals Dubai operates from Office 423, Al Barsha First, Al Barsha, and delivers across the city and to both airports. The fleet runs from economy hatchbacks and crossovers through SUVs and desert-capable 4x4s to Range Rover Vogue and Discovery, Mercedes E-Class and S-Class, BMW 5 and 7 Series, G-Wagon, Mustang and Porsche.
Salik tolls and comprehensive insurance are included in the daily rate, so you do not get a toll invoice weeks after you fly home. Airport meet and greet at DXB is free.
Airport delivery — DXB and DWC
We meet arrivals free of charge at Dubai International (DXB) Terminals 1, 2 and 3, and at Al Maktoum International (DWC). Send your flight number with the booking and we will be waiting when you clear customs.
Al Barsha First puts our office beside Sheikh Zayed Road and the Mall of the Emirates metro, a short run from Dubai Marina, JBR, Downtown and Business Bay, so city delivery is quick too.
Driving in Dubai
Salik is the automatic toll system on Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Khail Road and the main crossings, charged per gate. With us it is included, not rebilled. Fuel is inexpensive by UK standards, speed enforcement is camera-based and strict, and the road network is fast, wide and well signposted.
Minimum age is 21 for economy and SUV categories and 25 for 4x4 and premium vehicles, with a licence held at least one year. GCC, UK, EU, US, Canadian and Australian licences are accepted for short visits; most other nationalities need an International Driving Permit alongside their licence. UAE residents need a UAE licence.
4x4 hire for desert driving
Dune driving needs a proper body-on-frame 4x4, low tyre pressures and ideally a second vehicle in company. Our 4x4 category is suited to desert routes around Al Qudra, Lahbab and the Hatta road, and cross-border travel into Oman is possible with prior approval and a permit.
